فَوَیْلٌ  لِّلْمُصَلِّیْنَ ۙ(۴) الَّذِیْنَ ھُمْ عَنْ صَلَاتِہِمْ سَاھُوْنَ ۙ(۵)

So woe to such people who pray; who are heedless of their prayer.^[1]

This makes it clear that those who are negligent in offering their prayers are deserving of the dreadful valley of Wayl in Hell.

Different forms of neglecting prayer

Dear Islamic brothers, there are many forms of heedlessness concerning prayer, such as:

*    Not offering prayers regularly

*    Not praying at the proper time

*    Not properly fulfilling the obligations and necessary actions of prayer

*    Not praying in congregation without a valid excuse

*    Being indifferent to prayer

*    Offering prayers in public while abandoning them in private, etc.

How unfortunate! There are many forms of negligence towards prayer that have become common in our society.

*    How many people do not offer their prayers regularly?

*    Many people miss their prayers.

*    Leave alone offering the obligations and necessary actions of prayer correctly, many Muslims do not even have proper knowledge of these basics of prayer.

*    Many are completely indifferent to their prayers.
