unable to do so. Do you know why this is the case? Our past connects us to our future, as we navigate the future by keeping the past in mind.
We can either overthink our past, call it a tragedy and harm our future too through hopelessness, or we can consider our past our teacher and learn from it, leading to success in the future. If we adopt a positive approach, and learn from our past instead of overthinking and worrying about it, we will begin to see our past as beautiful rather than ugly, and improve our future through it.

Dear Islamic brothers! Hopelessness is a type of ailment and we should always have hope in the mercy of Allah Almighty. Allah Almighty states in a Hadith Qudsī:
اَنَا عِنْدَ ظَنِّ عَبْدِی بِیْ فَلْیَظُنَّ ظَانٍّ مَا شَآءَ
I am as My slave thinks of me, so let the thinker think as he wishes.[1]
Mufti Aḥmad Yār Khān NaꜤīmī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه comments, “’Slave’ here refers to a believer. Meaning, whatever a slave thinks of Me, I will deal with him accordingly.”[2]
We learn that the outcome we see will be in accordance to what we think. Positive thoughts lead to a positive outcome, and negative thoughts lead to negative results. So, always have hope in the mercy of Allah Almighty. Sayyidunā Jābir b. ꜤAbdullāh رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهُمَا narrates that the beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم gave the following advice three days
