Qayamat Ke Din Ke Gawah

Book Name:Qayamat Ke Din Ke Gawah

b. Mālik رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ reports that the beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “All the books of deeds are beneath the Throne of Allah. On the Day of Judgement, Allah will send forth a breeze making the books fly into the air and land into someone’s right or left hand.[1] The noble Quran states:

اِقْرَاْ کِتٰبَکَ ؕ  کَفٰی بِنَفْسِکَ الْیَوْمَ عَلَیْکَ  حَسِیْبًا (ؕ۱۴)

˹It will be said,˺ “Read your record ˹of deeds˺! This day you suffice against yourself for reckoning.[2]

Imām Ḥasan al-Baṣrī رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ said, “Everyone will read their book of deeds, regardless of whether they knew how to read in the world or not.”[3]

Dear Islamic brothers! This point on the Day of Judgement will be very difficult. ꜤAllāmah Ibn al-Jawzī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه writes:

When people are given their book of deeds on the Day of Judgement, they will see that even every minor sin is recorded in it, causing them to lower their heads in shame and sweat profusely. Allah will say, “O people! Raise your heads! Do you remember this sin?” Someone will say, “My Lord! I swear by Your honour and might, I recognise it.”

Allah will respond, “Do you remember you committed this sin on such-and-such day?” The person will confess to his sin and Allah shall say, “You sinned secretly, but you knew I was watching. Do you not feel shame before me? Did you not know you will return to me?” He will be unable to respond, and he will be sweating profusely because of his shame. He will feel disgusted with himself
