Book Name:Qayamat Ke Din Ke Gawah
and say in panic, “My Lord! Cast me into Hell, for it will be easier to bear than this embarrassment and rebuke.”[1]
The sixth witness on the Day of Judgement will be our limbs. Allah Almighty states:
On the Day when their tongues and their hands and their feet will bear witness against them concerning what they used to do.[2]
ꜤAllāmah Maḥmūd Ālūsī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه writes in his explanation of this verse: “On the Day of Judgement, Allah will grant our limbs the ability to speak. Then every limb will testify as to how the person used them.”[3]
Ponder about how terrifying this will be! Our own limbs testifying against us on the Day of Judgement! Our feet will say, “My Lord! He went to this place and committed this sin on this day.” Our hands will say, “My Lord! He used me to earn the unlawful, eat the unlawful, and perform impermissible deeds.” Our eyes will say, “My Lord! He used us to look at immodesty and watch movies.” Our ears will say, “My Lord! He used us to listen to music and take pleasure from listening to inappropriate speech.” Our tongue will say, “My Lord! He used me to backbite, lie, slander and curse.” How will we save ourselves when our limbs testify against us? What excuse will we have?
