Qayamat Ke Din Ke Gawah

Book Name:Qayamat Ke Din Ke Gawah

returned to his place of departure and walked the same path again saying, “I desire for every piece of land I walk upon to be a witness of my dhikr on the Day of Judgement.”[1]

سُـبْحٰـنَ الـلّٰــه! The habits of the pious are wonderful, and it shows how eager they were to perform good deeds. On the other hand, we are heedless and unfortunate enough to commit sins during our journeys. We watch movies and dramas, and listen to music whilst travelling by car, bus or plane. Even when we are walking, we listen to music and sing along. Ponder about what you are making the earth a witness to.

The beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said:

تَحَفَّظُوْا مِنَ الْاَرْضِ “Protect yourselves from the earth” فَاِنَّہَا اُمُّکُم because it is your origin. وَاِنَّہٗ لَیْسَ مِنْ اَحَدٍ عَامِلٍ عَلَیْہَا خَیْراً وَّ شَرّاً اِلَّا ہِیَ مُخْبِرَةٌ Indeed, there is no one who performs good  or evil upon it [the earth], except that it [the earth] will testify [concerning it on the Day of Judgement].[2]

2-3. The day and night

Dear Islamic brothers! The day and night will also be witnesses on the Day of Judgement. They will testify to the actions we performed in the light of day and in the darkness of night. The beloved Prophet               صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said:

When every day begins, it announces, “O son of Adam! I am a new creation to you. Whatever you do in me today, I will be a witness for it on the Day of Judgement. Therefore, perform good deeds so I can testify in your favour. When I leave, you will never see me again.”
