Allah shall say, “I know. Confess all your sins and I will forgive you and grant you Paradise.” Then he will admit all his sins, and only then will he be admitted into Paradise.” The Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “He will have the lowest rank in Paradise.”[1]
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
O devotees of the Prophet! Allah Almighty will forgive the sinner and grant him Paradise despite all his sins. Undoubtedly, this is Allah’s mercy, but reflect upon how grave this situation is. Excuses will not work on the Day of Judgement. We can speak our way out of difficult circumstances and comfort ourselves with many lies in the world. However, when we stand before Allah on the Day of Judgement with mountains of evil deeds and our book of deeds in our hand, it will be impossible to deny our wrongdoing in the world. Our hands, feet, tongue and skin will testify against us, and it will be difficult to attain salvation. Without doubt, the fortunate are those whom Allah Almighty admits into Paradise through His mercy.
The one who attains salvation is fortunate
Imām Ḥasan al-Baṣrī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه said, “Knowing why someone is ruined in the Hereafter is not surprising, but knowing how someone attained salvation is.”[2]
On the Day of Judgement, the matter of accountability will be so severe that it is easy to become deserving of Hell, but attaining salvation and entry into Paradise is extremely difficult. Therefore, it is
