Maut Ke Qasid

Book Name:Maut Ke Qasid

Prophet Sulaymān  عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم asked, "What do you want now?"

The man said, "I want you to save me from him and command the wind to take me to a far-off region in Hind."

Hearing this, Prophet Sulaymān عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم commanded the wind to carry him to that distant place, and it did so.

When the Angel of Death عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم returned, Prophet Sulaymān عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم asked him, "Why were you looking so intently at that person sitting near me?"

The Angel of Death عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم replied, "I was astonished because I was commanded to seize his soul in a distant region in Hind after a short while, yet I found him sitting with you."[1]

Dear Islamic brothers, you heard that the man assumed he could escape death by distancing himself from the Angel of Death's gaze and traveling far away. Yet, alas! He unknowingly reached the very location where his death had already been decreed.

Remember! Death spares no one; every living soul must taste the bitterness of death. As stated in the holy Quran: کُلُّ نَفۡسٍ ذَآئِقَۃُ  الۡمَوۡتِ ؕ  Every soul will taste death.[2]

Ḥakīm al-Ummah, Mufti Aḥmad Yār Khan NaꜤīmī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه explains this verse, "Whether human, jinn, or angel, everyone except Allah Almighty will taste death; Everything is destined to perish."[3]

Beloved Islamic brothers! You heard how the holy Quran clearly declares that death will come to everyone, and no one can escape it. Despite this certainty, how regretful it is if we fail to prepare for it.
