A brief introduction to Lady Fāimah رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهَا

What an amazing incident we have just heard. مَا شَـآءَ اللّٰه How exalted is the status of the Prophet’s daughter, Lady Fāṭimah رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهَا, that angels themselves came to serve her.

She is the leader of women and was the youngest and most beloved daughter of our Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. According to one view, she was born in Mecca in the first year after the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم announced his prophethood, when he was 41 years of age. Another view says she was born five years before the proclamation of prophethood.[2]

Her blessed name, Fāṭimah رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهَا, was chosen by Allah Almighty Himself. The Greatest Prophet   صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم explained: "Indeed, Allah Almighty named my daughter Fāṭimah, for He has kept her far from Hell."[3]
