Encouragement for Pious Deed Number 43

Dear Islamic brothers, Islam teaches us to purify our hearts as well as our outward appearance. So, we must ensure that our clothes, body, shoes, turban, home, car, street, etc. are cleaned regularly. When going to the masjid in particular, with the intention of honouring the masjid, one should perform ghusl or wudu before he enters. You should also apply fragrance and wear new clothes. This will grant you focus and sincerity in your worship ان شآء اللہ.

In order to acquire religious and moral training, affiliate yourselves with the religious environment of Dawat-e-Islami and wholeheartedly participate in the 12 religious activities of the zeli halqa. Pious Deed number 43 of the Pious Deeds booklet, written by the renowned spiritual guide and leader of Ahl al-Sunnah, Mawlānā Ilyās ꜤAṭṭār al-Qādirī دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ, states: Are you habitual in observing cleanliness, and are you well-mannered? (Cleanliness here means keeping your body, clothes, house, place of work and belongings neat and clean. Well-mannered means being punctual, not banging on doors unnecessarily at home or when sitting in your own or someone else’s car, putting something back in its place, whether in your own home, educational institute, office or someone's house which you had permission to take, etc.)

The Purpose of listening to the Accounts of our Pious Predecessors

Dear Islamic brothers, one of the purposes of listening to the accounts of our pious predecessors رَحِمَہُمُ اللہُ السَّلام is to implement their lifestyle and habits into our own lives. Therefore, we must repent and follow in the footsteps of our pious predecessors, especially those of Imam Abu Hanifa رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه. This will be a source of many blessings ان شآء اللہ.
