 Dar al-Sunnah

اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـهِ Dawat-e-Islami, the movement of Prophetic devotees, is carrying out religious work in over 80 departments in order to spread the call to righteousness. One of these departments is “Dar al-Sunnah”. This department was established to provide organisational and moral training to Islamic brothers from various countries, cities and areas, and it is for this reason that Dar al-Sunnah has been set up in various centres of Dawat-e-Islami.

Those Islamic brothers who come to Dar al-Sunnah are taught sacred knowledge, Sunan and etiquettes, and how to recite the Quran properly. Also, those Islamic brothers who travel in the way of Allah Almighty on Madani qafilahs are taught about the Sunan and etiquettes of travelling and about the purpose of their journey before they embark on it. When they return, after acquiring knowledge and training regarding the Sunnah, they spread the call to righteousness in their communities. Therefore, in order to learn about the Sunnah, we should also attend Dar al-Sunnah from time to time and then spread what we learn to others. After returning from the Madani qafilahs, their feedback is also recorded at Dar al-Sunnah.

Someone asked Imam Abu Hanifa رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه, “How did you reach this elevated rank?” The noble imam answered, “I benefitted others with my knowledge and never held it back. If I did not know something, I did not hesitate in taking benefit from others in that matter.”[1]
