An accepted ode

An Islamic brother from Hyderabad (Sindh) saw the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم in a dream. The Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: “Give my salam to Ilyas Qadiri, and tell him I liked the alwādaꜤ Tājdār-e-Madinah ode that he wrote. When he visits Madina again, tell him to write another farewell ode.”[1]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

The honour to sweep in Masjid al Nabawi

When Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ visited Madinah in 1406 AH (1986), he was determined to sweep the floor of Masjid al-Nabawi. Hence, he told the caretakers of Masjid al-Nabawi of his desire, and they allowed him to sweep the floors of the masjid for a short while.

Sweeping the streets of Madinah

At times, when the honourable sheikh walked through the streets of Madinah, sometimes he would take the brooms from the cleaners and clean the roads himself.[2]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Respecting a cat of Madinah

Rukn Shura Haji Muhammad Aslam سَلَّمَہُ الْبَارِی states:

We were fortunate to have suḥūr with the Amir of Ahl al-Sunnah دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ in Madinah. Whilst we were sitting on the dining mat, a kitten came towards us. What can be said of the honourable sheikh’s love for the Prophet, for he immediately picked up the kitten belonging to the Prophet’s city and gazed at
