Looking at a preacher is worship

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin ꜤAbbās رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ, the paternal uncle of the Prophet  صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم , stated:

اَلنَّظَرُ إِلَى الرَّجُلِ مِنْ أَهْلِ السُّنَّةِ الَّذِي يَدْعُو إِلَى السُّنَّةِ، وَيَنْهَى عَنِ الْبِدْعَةِ عِبَادَةٌ

“It is an act of worship to look at a man from the Ahl al-Sunnah who propagates the Sunnah and prohibits [reprehensible] innovation.”^[1]

Dear Islamic brothers, modern-day society is rife with trials, and it is common for further tribulations to arise. However, it is a blessing of Allah that He has never left the ummah of His Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم without a helper. Throughout every period, the honourable scholars and awliyāˈ have propagated the Sunnah and eliminated evil. Even in today’s day and age, there are many scholars who are busy in propagating the Sunnah. When looking at the list of such figures, one name stands out in particular. This individual has spread the Sunnah across the entire world in this time of trial and tribulation. Through his efforts, countless people have repented from their sins and adopted the Sunnah by keeping a beard and wearing an Ꜥimāmah. Many have become habitual in offering salah, and hundreds of thousands have accepted Islam.

Who is this esteemed personality? He is the heartbeat of millions of people and the coolness to their eyes; a scholar who acts upon his knowledge; the epitome of piety; a preacher of Islam; a leader; an eradicator of evil innovation and propagator of the Sunnah; a lover of the Prophet, his family and his noble companions, and the awliyāˈ; he is the renowned spiritual guide and leader of Ahl al-Sunnah, Mawlana Ilyas Attar Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ.
