He is a devotee of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم , the companions and Ahl al-Bayt, and also a lover of the blessed city of Madinah. Whether it be a case of mentioning Madinah, remembering Madinah, longing to see Madinah, an attachment to Madinah or sadness due to being distant from Madinah, all aspects of love for Madinah are found in the honourable sheikh.
Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ is known to mention Madinah often in his conversations. He talks about Madinah when delivering a speech. He speaks about Madinah during the Madani Muzakaras. He speaks of Madinah in his writings. Regardless of the occasion, he always remembers and mentions Madinah.
