*   In September 1981, Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ started the religious movement of Dawat-e-Islami. He invited people towards good even prior to the organisation being established, but after its establishment, this became one of its pillars.

*   He formed the following slogan: “I must strive to reform myself and the people of the entire world.” With this goal in mind, he worked tirelessly day and night. By the grace of Allah and the blessings of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and the awliyāˈ رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَیْہِمْ, the message of Dawat-e-Islami has spread across the globe.

*   In the initial stages of his journey, the honourable sheikh faced many difficulties and obstacles. Some foolish people even attempted to stop this religious endeavour مَعاذَ اللہ! Despite these problems, the honourable sheikh hoped in the mercy of Allah and continued to progress.

*   He would travel far and wide and deliver multiple speeches in one day.

*   He travelled to different masjids, villages and cities to invite people towards good.

*   If there was a bereavement, he would bathe and shroud the deceased with the intention of aiding Muslims and offering consolation to the family of the deceased. He would also lead the funeral prayer.

*   He assisted Muslims during occasions of joy and sadness, to the extent whereby they too would accompany him to invite people towards good.

In this manner, Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ continued with his mission. His efforts led to the following:
