Book Name:Zawal Ke Asbab
As narrated by the Companion Abū Hurayrah رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ, the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: یَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّۃَ اَقْوَامٌ اَفْئِدَتُہُمْ مِثْلُ اَفْئِدِۃِ الطَّیْرِ - “Such nations shall enter Paradise, who hearts are like the hearts of birds.”[1]
Muftī Aḥmād Yār Khan NaꜤīmī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه explains, “Birds have an immense amount of trust in Allah and their hearts are pure from malice. Whoever develops these qualities takes on angelic traits.”[2]
O those who love Allah’s Messenger! Materialism, not relying upon Allah and seeking help through mostly visible means is another cause of downfall. This causes the love of the world to increase in the heart, as well as the prevalence of greed and jealousy. There were many nations who were destroyed for this reason. May Allah protect us from ruin and being deprived from blessings.
