صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Dear Islamic brothers! Thousands of nations have lived on this Earth and achieved many things, but why do they decline after reaching the pinnacle of success? Today, we will attempt to understand the causes of downfall in light of the Quran and hadith, in order to protect ourselves from ruin. May Allah grant us success and blessings in this world and the Hereafter.
اٰمِیْن بِجَاہِ خاتَمِ النَّبِیّیْن صلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہ ِوَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ
It is stated in the Quran:
اِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَا یُغَیِّرُ مَا بِقَوۡمٍ حَتّٰی یُغَیِّرُوۡا مَا بِاَنۡفُسِہِمۡ ؕ
Indeed, Allah does not change His Favour upon any nation until they change their own condition.[1]
It is written in Ṣirāṭ al-Jinān, “It is the way of Allah that He does not take away the blessings of a nation until they prove their unworthiness through continuous disobedience.”[2]
When Allah blesses a nation, He grants them success, honour, happiness, safety and affluence. If the nation commits sins, adopts evil traits, becomes lazy and careless in their actions, abandons piety and shows ingratitude, Allah will take these blessings away from them. The nation will be disgraced,
