Book Name:Zawal Ke Asbab
“You have endured this for so long”, the non-Muslim asked, “do you not get angry?” The saint replied, “I do, yet I control it, as Allah has said:”
And who restrain anger and forgive people. And the righteous people are the beloveds of Allah.[1]
Hearing this wondrous reply, the non-Muslim accepted Islam and became Muslim. [2]
O those who love Allah’s Messenger! These were the Muslims of the past! People would be impressed by their manners and character, so much so that they accepted Islam. What is our state today? Rather than being positively affected when they see us, there is every possibility that they will develop hatred for Islam.
It is our responsibility to be the best of nations and we must value this honour given to us by Allah. To do this, we must avoid emulating other nations. We must acquire knowledge of the Quran and sunnah and try our absolute best to act upon them.
2-3. Inviting towards Good and Forbidding Evil
Dear Islamic brothers! The second and third responsibility of the Muslim ummah is mentioned in the Quran:
Appeared amongst the people; you command good and forbid evil [3]
