Imam JaꜤfar al-Ṣādiq’s رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه fear of Allah Almighty
Dear Islamic brothers! Imam JaꜤfar al-Ṣādiq رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه possessed great fear for Allah. He cried out of fear for Allah during his blessed childhood, and due to his sobbing people felt sympathetic towards him. When he was approximately four years old, he cried profusely. Propelled by a sense of dedication to serve the Prophetic Household, someone approached him and said, “My son, what’s wrong? Tell me what you need and I will bring it to you immediately.”
Upon hearing this, Imam JaꜤfar al-Ṣādiq رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه cried louder and said, “Uncle, my heart is trembling from the fear of Allah and His wrath.”
The man responded compassionately, “My son, you are very young. Why do you have so much fear? Be at ease because children are not punished.”
Imam JaꜤfar al-Ṣādiq رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه wept even more due to the fear of Allah
