Almighty and said, “Uncle, I have seen that before large pieces of wood are set alight, wood shavings and twigs are placed near them because they burn quickly, which allows the large pieces of wood to catch fire. I fear that I will be the wood shavings for when great disbelievers like Abū Jahl and Abū Lahab are burning in Hell.”[1]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                                             صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Virtues of crying in fear of Allah Almighty

Dear Islamic brothers! Imam JaꜤfar al-Ṣādiq رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه possessed the fear of Allah Almighty from an early age. May Allah Almighty grant us this blessing too. Undoubtedly, crying out of fear of Allah Almighty and love for the beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم are virtuous deeds.

The beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “The believer who cries due to the fear of Allah, and even if a tear the size of a fly’s head reaches the outward part of his face, Allah makes Hell forbidden for him.”[2]

The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم also said, “There are some angels whose sides tremble because of their fear for Allah. From every tear they shed from their eyes, a new angel is created who stands up and begins to proclaim the glory of Allah.”[3]

The beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “The one who cries out of fear for Allah will never enter Hell until milk returns to its udders.”[4]

The great Quranic exegete, Mufti Aḥmad Yār Khān رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه explains this Hadith, “Just as it is impossible for milk to return to the udders it came
