out of, it is impossible for the one who cries due to the fear of Allah to enter Hell.”^[1]

Dear Islamic brothers! Those who cry out of the fear of Allah Almighty have a unique rank in His court, for others are blessed because of them. The final Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was delivering a sermon when someone started crying. The beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “Today, if all the Muslims who have sins equal to mountains were present amongst you, they would have been forgiven because of the crying of this man because the angels were crying with him, supplicating, ‘O Allah! Accept the intercession of those who cry abundantly in favour of those who do not cry.’”^[2]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                                             صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

The elevated rank of Imam JaꜤfar al-Ṣādiq

The accomplished saint and erudite scholar of his era, Sayyidunā Dāwūd al-Ṭāˈī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه said to Imam JaꜤfar al-Ṣādiq رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه, “You are from the Ahl al-Bayt, so give me advice.” Imam JaꜤfar al-Ṣādiq رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه remained silent for a while before Sayyidunā Dāwūd al-Ṭāˈī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه repeated his question. Then the Imam answered, “I am fearful that on the Day of Judgement, my great grandfather [i.e. the beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم] takes my hand and asks why I never fulfilled the right of obeying him.” Upon hearing this, Dāwūd al-Ṭāˈī  رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه wept, thinking, “If someone of high rank like Imam JaꜤfar al-Ṣādiq رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه is fearful, what hope do I have?”^[3]
