The virtue of sending ṣalāt on the beloved Prophet
The beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said:
Indeed, Allah Almighty has appointed an angel at my grave who has been granted the ability to hear all voices. Thus, until the Day of Judgment, whenever someone recites ṣalāt upon me, the angel presents it to me along with the person's name and his father's name, saying: This is so-and-so, son of so-and-so, he has sent blessings upon you.”[1]

Intentions for listening to the sermon
The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: اَفْضَلُ الْعَمَلِ اَلنِّيَّۃُ الصَّادِقَۃُ "The best of deeds is a sincere intention."[2]
O devotees of the Prophet! Make it a habit to form good intentions before every action, as good intentions can lead one to Paradise. Before listening to the sermon, make the following good intentions:
* I will listen to the entire sermon to gain knowledge.
* I will sit respectfully.
* I will avoid laziness during the sermon.
