The consequences of sinning in Ramadan
The beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: "Whoever commits a sin in Ramadan, Allah Almighty will destroy his good deeds for the entire year. Indeed, Ramadan is the month of Allah, so beware of sinning in it!"[1]
Another hadith states: "Refrain from dishonouring Ramadan, for indeed, in this month, the reward for good deeds increases, as does the severity of sins."[2]
