Ramadan! If possible, recite the supplication that our beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم used to recite upon sighting the new moon.
اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه, you will attain immense blessings!
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Dear Islamic brothers! Always remember this! The month of Ramadan is a time for self-improvement—a month to purify both our outward and inward selves.
Allah Almighty states in the holy Quran:
یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا کُتِبَ عَلَیْکُمُ الصِّیَامُ کَمَا کُتِبَ عَلَی الَّذِیْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِکُمْ لَعَلَّکُمْ تَتَّقُوْنَ (۱۸۳)
O you who believe! Fasting was made incumbent upon you, as it was made incumbent upon those who preceded you that you may become pious.[1]
In this blessed verse of the holy Quran, the highest wisdom and the greatest benefit of fasting has been revealed, and that is:
لَعَلَّکُمْ تَتَّقُوْنَ (۱۸۳)
you that you may become pious.[2]-[3]
Meaning: O Muslims! Fasting has been made obligatory upon you, therefore remain steadfast in observing it (i.e., keep fasting regularly) so that you may attain piety and righteousness.
