Ramadan and fasting, the noble Sufi saints consider Ramadan to be the month of spiritual revival or rebirth.

Perhaps you may be surprised to hear that, according to the noble Sufis, a human being experiences two births:

1.   The first birth is the well-known physical birth when we enter this world.

2.   The second birth refers to the purification of the heart, which occurs when a person cleanses his heart from:

*    sins

*    spiritual diseases

*    greed

*    materialistic desires

*    love for the world

*    arrogance

*    self-centeredness, etc.
