Faizan e Rabi Ul Akhir

Book Name:Faizan e Rabi Ul Akhir

الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was teaching or preaching could keep their faces towards the Qiblah’. (Maqasid-e-Hasanah, p. 88)

*Sayyiduna Anas رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ has narrated: ‘The messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was never seen stretching his legs out in front of others sitting beside him.’ (Tirmizi, vol. 4, p. 221, Hadees 2498)

The word ‘Rukbatayn’ (i.e. knees) has been used in the Hadees. According to one opinion, this means the both feet. Like Hakeem-ul-Ummat Mufti Ahmad Yar Khan رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه states under this Hadees: ‘i.e. The Holy Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم never stretched his legs out towards anyone in a gathering, neither towards the children, nor towards the blessed wives and nor towards the slaves and servants.’ (Mirat-ul-Manajih, vol. 8, p. 80)

*Sayyiduna Imam Abu Hanifah رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه states: ‘I have never stretched my feet towards the blessed house of my honourable teacher, Sayyiduna Hammad رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه, out of his respect. Despite there being a distance of a few streets between my house and his (i.e. my honourable teacher’s) blessed house, still I never stretched my legs out towards it.’ (Manaqib ul-Imam Al-A’zam Abi-e-Hanifah, Part 2, p. 7)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
