and a few other glimpses of his blessed life. We shall also hear about how we should spend the month of Rabi’-ul-Aakhir and what forms of worship have the saints of Islam رَحِمَهُمُ الـلّٰـه mentioned regarding this month. Then towards the end, اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه the definition of ‘Giyarveen’ in relation to Sayyiduna Ghaus-ul-A’zam رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه, and some of its virtues will also be mentioned. May Allah Almighty enable us to listen to the entire speech with good intentions.

اٰمِیْن بِجَاہِ النَّبِیِّ الْاَمِیْن صلَّی اللہ علیہ واٰلہٖ وسلَّم

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب       صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Umm-ul-Mu’mineen, Sayyidatuna Zaynab Bint-e-Khuzaymah رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهَا

O devotees of the Prophet, Rabi’-ul-Aakhir is that esteemed month on the 4^th of which is the death anniversary of Umm-e-Mu’mineen, Sayyidatuna Zaynab Bint-e-Khuzaymah رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهَا. So, let us observe some aspects of her blessed life:

   *Her name is Zaynab. (Tahzeeb ul-Lughat, vol. 13, p. 230)

   *Her father is Khuzaymah Bin Haaris.

   *She was honoured to become the wife of the Blessed Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم after the passing of Sayyiduna Abdullah Bin Jahsh رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ, and therefore received the lofty status of being the mother of believers. (Tabaqat-e-Ibn-e-Sa’d, vol. 8, p. 91)

   *She was incredibly generous.

   *She became known with the title ‘Umm-ul-Masakeen’, i.e. the mother of poor people, due to her extremely kind conduct with orphans and poor people, and for feeding them in abundance.

   *She passed away just 8 months after coming into the Nikah of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, in Rabi’ ul-Aakhir of the 4^th Hijri, in the blessed city of Madinah.
