*At the time of passing away, she was 30 years old. (Sharh-uz-Zurqaani, vol. 4, p. 418)

   *The messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم led her funeral Salah, and heصَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم  buried her himself. (Tabaqat-e-Ibn-e-Sa’d, vol. 8, p. 92)

   *Her resting place is in Jannat-ul-Baaqi’. (Tabaqat Ibn-e-Sa’d, vol. 8, p. 92)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب  صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

The reason behind the month being called Rabi’ ul-Aakhir

Dear Islamic brothers, ‘Rabi’-ul-Aakhir’ is the fourth blessed month of the Islamic year. When the Islamic months were named, ‘Rabi’ ul-Aakhir’ fell at the end of spring. Therefore, it was called ‘Rabi’ ul-Aakhir’. (Ghiyas ul-Lughaat, p. 295)

اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه, the month of Rabi’-ul-Aakhir has a special affiliation with Sayyiduna Ghaus-ul-A’zam رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه. Certainly, he is a pious bondsman of Allah, an accepted saint, in fact, the master of all the saints.

Sayyiduna Sufyan Bin ‘Uyaynah رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه has stated: عِنْدَذِکْرِ الصَّالِحِیْنَ تَنْزِلُ الرَّحْمَۃُ Translation: Mercy descends when pious people are mentioned. (Hilya-tul-Awliya, vol. 7, p. 335, Raqm 10750)

Therefore, we too shall gain the honour of attaining the mercy of Allah Almighty by remembering Sayyiduna Ghaus-ul-A’zam رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه and the good deeds that are related to the month of Rabi’-ul-Aakhir.

Let us begin with a short introduction to Sayyiduna Ghaus ul-A’zam رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه:

Sayyiduna Shaykh Abdul Qaadir Jilani رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه was born on 1^st Ramadan 470 Hijri, on the day of Friday, in Jilaan.

His teknonym (Kunyah) is ‘Abu Muhammad’, whereas, Muhy-ud-Deen, Mahboob-e-Subhani, Ghaus-ul-A’zam, Ghaus-us-Saqalayn etc. are his titles. His blessed father’s name is Sayyiduna Abu Saalih Musa Jangi-Dost, and his
