asked him the reason for his weeping, he replied, ‘O Hamad! I am very fearful of this responsibility.’ I asked him, ‘How much love for wealth do you have in your heart?’ He رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه replied, ‘None at all.’ So, I said, ‘Do not fear, Allah Almighty will aid you.’ (Tareekh Al-Khulafa, p. 185)
Dear Islamic brothers! Did you just hear about the conduct of Sayyiduna Umar Bin Abdul Aziz رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه that instead of becoming happy when he رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه attained the extremely high position of Khalifah, he رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه became extremely worried due to his sense of responsibility, and then there is us that when we are not selected to become Nigran, or for another responsibility, or for delivering a Bayan or making Du’a, our mood becomes off. To learn more about the condemnation of love for fame, read the discussion regarding love for honour and fame in the 1286-page book of Maktaba-tul-Madina, entitled, ‘Ihya-ul-Uloom, volume 3,’ and whilst remaining attached to the religious environment of Dawat-e-Islami at all times, make it your habit to travel in the Madani Qafilahs.
Dear Islamic brothers! In order to train yourselves and your children, and to provide them with necessary Islamic education, attach yourself to the religious environment of Dawat-e-Islami, and wholeheartedly take part in the 12 religious works of the Zayli Halqah. اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه, through the blessings of this, alongside gaining necessary Islamic
