Department for the Protection of Sacred Scriptures

Etiquettes are not only taught in the religious environment of Dawat-e-Islami, rather, practical steps are taken for this too, which can be gauged from the following: Where Dawat-e-Islami is serving the Sunnah through more than 80 departments, اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه, it has a special department known as ‘Protection of Sacred Scriptures.’ The primary goal of this department is to preserve sacred scriptures and to protect the people from disrespecting and desecrating them. With this noble passion in mind, the Islamic brothers of this department, with the help of people from various walks of life (for example, scholars, Imams, Masjid committees, businessmen, shopkeepers, etc.), arrange for boxes and sacks to be placed in various locations, and in accordance to the principles of the Shari’ah and the organisation, they make arrangements for sacred scriptures to be buried, placed in the sea, or preserved. اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه! Under this department, around 27,000 boxes have been placed in over 150 cities of Pakistan, and around more than 200,000 sacks of sacred scriptures have been preserved.
