Book Name:Barkaat e Zakat
And whatever you spend in the path of Allah, He will give more in return; and He is the Best Provider of sustenance.[1]
And it is stated in part 3, Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 261-262:
The example of those who spend their wealth in the path of Allah is similar to a grain which has sprouted seven ears (of wheat), and each ear contains a hundred grains; and Allah may increase even more than this for whomsoever He wills, and Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing. Those who spend their wealth in the path of Allah, and after spending they do not boast of their favour nor taunt; their reward is with their Lord; they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve.[2]
Dear Islamic brothers! We have learned that one should wholeheartedly and happily pay Zakat, having firm belief that Allah Almighty will grant him a better recompense. The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has stated, ‘Sadaqah does not reduce wealth.’ [3]
Apparently, by giving Zakat, wealth seems to be reduced, but in reality, it continues increasing. Like a tree that seems to have fewer branches apparently after pruning, but it [the pruning] brings about its growth.
