Book Name:Barkaat e Zakat
Allah has placed countless benefits and wisdom in the practice of giving Zakat. Let’s now hear about some of them.
The wisdom behind giving Zakat
1. Generosity is considered a sign of perfection within a person. Whereas, greediness and miserliness is an open weakness. Islam gave Muslims the chance to give Zakat, so this quality of generosity is brought about within them and greediness comes to an end.

For example, the meat of an animal is for humans, whereas its bones are reserved for animals to eat. Ripe wheat is for humans, whereas its leftover straw is also eaten by animals.
