رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه would have definitely prevented it, never allowing this to take place. It was as though his devotion was saying,

“There is no denying the greatness and importance of the Kaʿbah, but remember that the blessings of the past and present in this universe are received through the means of the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.”

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! Let us listen to a short introduction of Imām Mālik رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه:

Imām Mālik’s birth and lineage

According to the most correct opinion, Imām Mālik رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه was born in 93 AH (in the month of RabiꜤ al-Awwal), in al-Madinah al-Munawwarah.[1] His name is Mālik, and his kunyah Abu ꜤAbdullah. His lineage is as follows: Mālik bin Anas bin Mālik bin Abū ʿĀmir. His great-grandfather, Abu ʿĀmir migrated from Yemen to Madinah and embraced Islam and attained the honour of being a Prophetic Companion.[2]  

The renowned book of hadith, known as “Muwaṭṭa Imām Mālik” is the work of Imām Mālik رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه.[3] He passed away in Madinah in 179 AH during the month of Rabīʿ al-Awwal. He رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه was laid to rest in Jannah al-Baqīʿ near the beloved Prophet’s blessed son, Sayyidunā Ibrāhīm رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ.[4]
