Book Name:Aaqa Ka Safar e Meraj

we will never become displeased. We will remain forever; we will never leave.’”

Upon this, the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم   recited verse 72 of Sūrah al-Raḥmān:

حُوۡرٌ  مَّقۡصُوۡرٰتٌ فِی  الۡخِیَامِ (ۚ۷۲)

Translation from Kanz al-Īmān: There are Hoors (i.e. maidens of Paradise) hidden from view in tents.[1], [2]

Heavenly rivers and birds

The Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم   stated:

(On the Night of MiꜤrāj,) I entered Paradise and saw that its pebbles were of pearls and its soil was musk.[3] Then, I saw four rivers: one was of water, which never changes; the second was of milk, the taste of which never changes; the third was of wine, which contains only delight for its consumer (with no intoxication at all); and the fourth river was of pure and clean honey. The birds of Paradise were like camels. Allah Almighty has prepared in it for His righteous slaves such bounties that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has conceived.[4]
