Book Name:Aaqa Ka Safar e Meraj
He عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام said, ‘ꜤUmar bin al-Khaṭṭāb (رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ).’”
Hearing this, Sayyidunā ꜤUmar bin al-Khaṭṭāb رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ became emotional. Sayyidunā ꜤAbdullah bin Ḥasan رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ mentions, “After this incident, we never saw laughter upon the face of Amīr al-Muˈminīn Sayyidunā ꜤUmar bin al-Khaṭṭāb رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ until he left this world.”[1]
Sayyidunā Abū Buraydah رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ narrates that the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said:
(On the Night of MiꜤrāj,) When I entered Paradise, I passed by a palace that was adorned with gold. I asked, “لِمَنْ هٰذَا الْقَصْرُ” (Whose palace is this?).
The angels replied, “لِرَجُلٍ مِّنَ الْعَرَبِ” (It belongs to a man from the Arabs).
I said, “اَنَا عَرَ بِیٌّ” (I am an Arab).
The angels responded, “لِرَجُلٍ مِنْ قُرَ يْشٍ” (It belongs to a man from the Quraysh).
I said, “اَنَا قُرَشِيٌّ” (I am a Qurayshī).
The angels then said, “لِرَجُلٍ مِّنْ اُمَّۃِ مُحَمَّدٍ” (It is for a man from the Ummah of Muḥammad).
