4.   “Indeed, ṣadaqah extinguishes the Lord’s wrath and repels a bad death.”[1]

5.   “Give ṣadaqah early in the morning, for calamity does not step ahead of ṣadaqah.”[2]

7.   “Whosoever gives ṣadaqah for the sake of Allah Almighty, it will become a barrier between him and the fire.”[4]

8.   “Salah is a proof (of faith), fasting is a shield (against sins), and ṣadaqah wipes out sins just like water puts out fire.”[5]

After mentioning Hadiths regarding the virtues of ṣadaqah, the Reviver of Islam and Imam of Ahl al-Sunnah, Imam Aḥmad Razā Khān رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه writes on page 152 in the 23rd volume of Fatāwā Razawiyyah:

These Hadith prove that Muslims who take part in this deed with righteous intentions and pure wealth will be granted countless benefits from the grace of Allah Almighty and the Prophet (صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم):
