Book Name:Aaqa Ka Safar e Meraj

Muqarrabīn (elect angels). As not even a Muqarrab angel has the ability to pass this point, Sayyidunā Jibrīl عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام excused himself from accompanying the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم any further and remained behind.

Then, the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم   continued to ascend the station of special proximity until he reached that lofty rank of closeness which the minds of creation are unable to grasp. There, the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم   was bestowed with special mercy and grace; divine favours and exclusive bounties were granted to him. He was given dominion of the heavens and earth, and attained knowledge that was superior to them. Salah was made obligatory for the Ummah. The Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم   interceded for some sinners. He visited Paradise and Hell, and then returned to his place in the world.[1]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

O devotees of the Prophet! You have heard how the MiꜤrāj journey of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم   was filled with countless bounties. In this journey, he witnessed many great signs of Allah Almighty. We also learnt that the blessed chest of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم   was washed with the sacred water of Zam Zam and filled with wisdom. It is possible that the thought could arise in someone’s mind as to why Zam Zam water was chosen instead of any other water to wash the pure body of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم .
