(1) “Three things are beloved to me from your world: fragrance, woman, and salah has been made the coolness of my eyes.”[1]
(2) “Four things are from the sunnah of the Prophets: nikah, miswak, modesty, and applying fragrance.”[2]
* The Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم did not turn down a gift of fragrance.[3]
* It is recommended (mustaḥabb) to apply fragrance for JumuꜤah salah.[4]
* Salah involves imploring Allah Almighty, so it is mustaḥabb to adorn yourself and apply fragrance for it.[5]
* The Greatest Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم always used the finest fragrance and would encourage others to do the same.[6]
* He صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم disliked bad odours.[7]
* Men should apply such fragrance to their clothes that spreads but does not leave any stains.[8]
