Allah Almighty’s favours upon a person

Sayyidunā Abdullah b. ꜤUbayd رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ reports that the Prophet of Allah Almighty and the father of all humans, Sayyidunā Ādam عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم once said to Allah Almighty, “O Lord! You made Satan my enemy, but my offspring do not have the strength to oppose him.”

Allah Almighty responded, “O Ādam! I will appoint a guardian angel to every child of yours (that will come till the Day of Judgement), which will protect him from Satan.”

Sayyidunā Ādam عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم then said, “O Lord! Grant even more.”

Allah Almighty replied, “O Ādam! Your children will receive 10 times the reward for one good deed, and I will increase it even more, whereas a sin will be recorded as one, and I will wipe it out too.”

Sayyidunā Ādam عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم again requested, “O Lord! Grant even more.”

Allah Almighty said, “O Ādam! As long as a person’s soul remains in his body, I will continue to accept his repentance.”^[1]

سُبْحٰنَ اللہ Dear Islamic brothers, how merciful and generous is our Lord! Whenever you commit a sin, present yourself before Him, repent, and acknowledge your mistake whilst showing regret. اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه Your repentance will be accepted, and you will be purified from the impurity of sin.
