Of these pious deeds, pious deed number 28 states, “Today, in the case of committing a sin مَعَاذَ اللہ, did you repent immediately?” This is such a pious deed that the one who acts upon it will try his best to avoid sins, and if he ends up committing a sin, he will repent at once and have the opportunity to seek forgiveness.
