Dear Islamic brothers! Making dhikr of Allah is also an easy act of worship, as a person can do this at any time with just a small amount of effort and focus. This has unimaginable and countless benefits.
Abū Mūsā رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ narrates that the final Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم declared, “If one person’s lap is full of dirhams and he proceeds to distribute them, whilst another individual makes dhikr of Allah, he who makes dhikr is better.”[2]
As mentioned in Jāmiʿ al-Tirmidhī, the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was once asked, “Who shall be the highest ranked people in the sight of Allah on the Day of Judgement, O Messenger of Allah?”
He replied, “Those who make much dhikr of Allah.”[3]
