Teen Dost

Book Name:Teen Dost

Scholars of Islam comment on this verse by saying: “There will be no worldly bed of any sort in the grave. Our pillows and beds there will be our deeds, whether good or bad.” [1]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Deeds; our associates in the grave

Yazīd Raqāshī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه said:

News reached me that when the deceased is placed in their grave, their deeds surround them and are given ability to speak by Allah. They say, “O you left alone in the grave! All your friends and family have been left behind. Today, we are your only friends.

Yazīd Raqāshī began to cry after this. He then said, “Glad tidings for those who have good friends in the grave! Woe to those who friends in the grave lead them to ruin!.”[2]

This is the time to control yourself

Dear Islamic brothers! This is an absolute and unchangeable reality. We probably have many plans in our minds and many wishes in our hearts.  Everyday, we think, plan, and worry for our worldly future.

The truth is when the angel of death, ꜤIzrāˈīl عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم arrives, no plan or dream of ours will remain. Only one thing will remain, and that is our actions. What we will do in the future in this world; buying a nice house, getting a good car and running a flourishing business; these are all concerns about our future, but our deeds are responsibility for today.
