2.    When two friends meet, shake hands, and send ṣalāt upon the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم; their past and present sins are forgiven before they part ways.[1]

*     When two Muslims meet, it is a Sunnah for them to greet each other with salam and shake hands using both hands.

*     You can also give salam and shake hands when parting ways.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

The six alawāt and two duāˈs recited in the sunnah-inspired weekly gatherings of Dawat-e-Islami

1. The alāt for the night preceding Friday

اَللّٰھُمَّ صَلِّ  وَ سَلِّمْ  وَبَارِكْ  عَلٰی  سَیِّدِنَا   مُحَمَّدٍ  النَّبِیِّ  الْاُمِّیِّ 

الْحَبِیْبِ الْعَالِی  الْقَدْرِ الْعَظِیْمِ الْجَاہِ   وَ عَلٰی   اٰلِہٖ  وَ صَحْبِہٖ  وَ سَلِّمْ

The saints of Islam have quoted, that whoever recites this ṣalāt at least once on the night between Thursday and Friday on a regular basis, will
