2.    When two friends meet, shake hands, and send ṣalāt upon the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم; their past and present sins are forgiven before they part ways.^[1]

*     When two Muslims meet, it is a Sunnah for them to greet each other with salam and shake hands using both hands.

*     You can also give salam and shake hands when parting ways.

1. The ṣalāt for the night preceding Friday

اَللّٰھُمَّ صَلِّ  وَ سَلِّمْ  وَبَارِكْ  عَلٰی  سَیِّدِنَا   مُحَمَّدٍ  النَّبِیِّ  الْاُمِّیِّ 

الْحَبِیْبِ الْعَالِی  الْقَدْرِ الْعَظِیْمِ الْجَاہِ   وَ عَلٰی   اٰلِہٖ  وَ صَحْبِہٖ  وَ سَلِّمْ
