distracted from the path of Allah and turn away from righteousness.

Now, what is the exemplary status of the Quran in comparison to such stories?

Allah declares:

الٓـمّٓ ۚ(۱) تِلْکَ اٰیٰتُ الْکِتٰبِ  الْحَکِیْمِ ۙ(۲) ھُدًی  وَّ  رَحْمَۃً   لِّلْمُحْسِنِیْنَ ۙ(۳)

" الٓـمّٓ. These are verses of the Book of Wisdom. Guidance and mercy for the virtuous.^[1]

Let us now mention three wonderful excellences the Quran possesses.

Zayd b. Aslam رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ narrates:

Once, a person came to the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.

“Teach him the Quran”, the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم instructed a Companion.

The Companion began teaching the person Surah al-Zilzāl. After the seventh verse, the person stopped and said: “This is enough for me.”
