Book Name:Parosi ki Ahmiyat

If this happens, then by Allah! Our society will be on the path to success. May Allah grant us the ability to act upon this.

Stay in touch with your neighbours!

Sayyidunā ʿAbdullah b. ʿAbbās رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا reports that the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “He is not a believer whose stomach is full while the neighbour to his side is starving.”[1]

It is stated in Mirāt al-Manājīḥ regarding this hadith:

If one is aware that his neighbour is hungry and needy, then he is inconsiderate and unkind (as he did not assist his neighbour despite knowing he needs help). If one is unaware of what his neighbour is going through, then he is careless. A believer should be aware of the condition of his relatives, friends, neighbours and people in the area. If he becomes aware of someone’s need, he should consider the opportunity to fulfil their need as priceless.[2]

The Global Village

O devotees of the Messenger! Turning the world into a global village is also a hot topic for our society. There are great steps being taken towards this. It seems as though the invention of smartphones and the internet occurred for this very purpose. A person can now sit on one side of the world and find out what is happening on the other side instantly, and one can even speak with people who live there.
