why he is also known as the Messenger’s wish (Murād-e-Rasūl).[1]

When Sayyidunā ꜤUmar رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ became a Muslim, this further increased the honour and authority of Islam, and it inspired the believers. It was after his acceptance of Islam that the Muslims openly offered salah in the Haram. The Greatest Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم appointed him as his vizier. Sayyidunā ꜤUmar رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ always remained a special advisor to the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم when it came to making important decisions about Islam. He رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ spent his entire life in service to the Greatest Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.
