Book Name:Farooq e Azam Ke Ala Ausaf

some other Companions عَلَیْہِمُ الرِّضْوَان became extremely cautious. Sayyidunā ꜤUmar رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ would speak so quietly that the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم would sometimes have to ask him to repeat what he had said.[1]

Then, this verse was revealed:

اِنَّ  الَّذِیْنَ یَغُضُّوْنَ  اَصْوَاتَہُمْ عِنْدَ رَسُوْلِ اللّٰہِ  اُولٰٓئِکَ الَّذِیْنَ امْتَحَنَ اللّٰہُ قُلُوْبَہُمْ  لِلتَّقْوٰی ؕ لَہُمْ  مَّغْفِرَۃٌ  وَّ اَجْرٌ عَظِیْمٌ (۳)

Those who lower their voices before the Messenger of Allah, it is they whose hearts Allah has tested for piety; for them there is forgiveness and great reward.[2]

In this verse, it is said regarding those Companions عَلَیْہِمُ الرِّضْوَان who lower their voices in the presence of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, particularly Sayyidunā Abū Bakr and Sayyidunā ꜤUmar رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهُمَا, that Allah Almighty has tested their hearts for piety, and for them is forgiveness and a major reward in the Hereafter.[3]

سُبْحٰنَ اللہ! We come to know that the forgiveness of Sayyidunā Abū Bakr and Sayyidunā ꜤUmar رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهُمَا is definitive; they are undoubtedly people of Paradise, as Allah Almighty has announced in this verse their forgiveness and an immense reward for them.
