The Ameer of Ahl al-Sunnah, a true follower of Sayyidunā ꜤUmar رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ

الحمدللہ! The renowned spiritual guide and leader of Ahl al-Sunnah, Mawlana Muhammad Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ is a true follower of Sayyiduna ꜤUmar رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ in this regard. He has presented himself before his disciples and admirers like an open book. He has given permission to all to correct him immediately if they see him doing anything contrary to Islam, whereby even when he conducts the Madani Muzakara (the questions-and-answers session), he states at the beginning, “Ask your questions. I will not necessarily be able to answer every question. If you find that I am mistaken, then correct me at once. You will not find me stubbornly adhering to my opinion without reason, rather I will be grateful and retract my statement.”

It is due to this humble nature that he has millions of disciples across the world today, who wholeheartedly act upon his advice. Allah Almighty has placed such love of him in the hearts of people that countless people become his disciples without having ever seen him.

Dear Islamic brothers, we should also adopt this mindset and be open-minded. Meaning, if somebody wishes to correct us, be they young or old, we should allow that. اِنْ شَآءَ اللہُ الْکَرِیْم There will be many benefits of this. Doing this will lead to fewer mistakes, improve our conduct, rectify us, and increase our love and respect in the hearts of people. اِنْ شَآءَ اللہُ الْکَرِیْم

May Allah Almighty grant us the ability to act upon this.
