The most scrupulous Companion in matters of religion

Dear Islamic brothers, we learn from this hadith that Sayyidunā ꜤUmar رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ is extremely firm in his religion and possesses very strong faith. In one hadith, the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said:

“Amongst the Companions (عَلَیْہِمُ الرِّضْوَان), the most strict in religious matters is ꜤUmar (رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ).”[2]

In another hadith, the Greatest Prophet

“In the matter of Allah’s command, ꜤUmar (رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ) is the firmest from my Ummah.”[3]

(2) Acts of worship most beloved to Sayyidunā Umar

I feel great delight when carrying out four acts:

(1) Fulfilling the obligations of Allah Almighty.

(2) Avoiding that which is declared haraam by Allah Almighty.

(3) Commanding good in order to gain reward.
