The best method of self-rectification and protecting ourselves from Satan is to reflect on our habits, character and actions.
In today’s day and age, the renowned spiritual guide and leader of Ahl al-Sunnah, Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ has given us an easy way of carrying out self-accountability, and that is the Pious Deeds booklet (the muballigh should have the booklet at hand and show the attendees).
The Pious Deeds booklet for adults contains 72 questions. Each question has 30 boxes beneath it. We should read each question every day, reflect upon our deeds and then fill in the box. This is an excellent way of living a correct Islamic life. Countless people have been reformed in this manner.
You should also purchase this booklet and take yourself to account daily; اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه it will be very beneficial. It will reform your character, improve your habits, make you steadfast in good deeds, give you a dislike for sins, illuminate your heart, grant you love for Allah Almighty, increase your devotion for the Prophet, give you spirituality and grant you concern for the Hereafter.
