Book Name:Asmani Kitabon Mein Naat e Mustafa
The final Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is a light, in fact, he صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is the distributor of light. Sayyidunā KaꜤb b. Zuhayr رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ states:
اِنَّ الرَّسُوْلَ لَنُوْرٌ یُسْتَضَاءُ بِہٖ
“Indeed, the Messenger is a light from whom illumination is sought.”[1]
Sayyidunā Usayd b. Abū Iyās رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ said, “The beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم once passed his blessed hand over my face and chest, and the effect of this was that whenever I enter a dark house, it becomes full of light.”[2]
Remember, our beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is light as well as human. Both matters are established in the noble Quran and sacred Aḥādīth.
Dear Islamic brothers! Many of the beloved Prophet’s blessed names were mentioned in the previous scriptures too. Let us hear some of them:
One who saves his Ummah from Hell
One of his names mentioned in the previous heavenly books is Ajīr, meaning, the one who saves his Ummah from Hell. Another blessed name of his mentioned in the Torah is Uḥīdu, which also has the same meaning of one who saves his Ummah from Hell.[3]
سُـبْحٰـنَ الـلّٰــه! Dear Islamic brothers! We learn the belief of intercession from this. Allah Almighty states in the Holy Quran:
وَ لَسَوْفَ یُعْطِیْکَ رَبُّکَ فَتَرْضٰی ؕ(۵)
